Lori is a private practice physiotherapist with an undergrad in exercise science and a masters of physiotherapy. She is currently working on her PhD at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, where she also lectures causally for the Sports and MSK Masters students, as well as the undergraduate Exercise Physiology students.
Lori’s PhD is looking into the effects of heavy weight lifting on female pelvic organ support using 3D/4D transperineal ultrasound, which she also uses clinically to assess the pelvic floor.
Lori is an invited conference speaker and produces and hosts The Pelvic Health Podcast, which interviews academics and experts from all over the globe on issues related to pelvic health.
When she is not at work or studying, she loves hanging out with her family – preferably at the beach.
