Maddy has always had an interest in paediatric and maternal nutrition, starting her career in thepublic health system as a rural generalist in central Queensland. The majority of her rural work was supporting families and children with allergies, introduction to solids, faltering growth, fussy eating and establishing positive family mealtimes, as well as managing additional clinical conditions such as type 1 diabetes and coeliac disease.

Maddy has always had an interest in paediatric and maternal nutrition, starting her career in thepublic health system as a rural generalist in central Queensland. The majority of her rural work was supporting families and children with allergies, introduction to solids, faltering growth, fussy eating and establishing positive family mealtimes, as well as managing additional clinical conditions such as type 1 diabetes and coeliac disease.
More recently moving into maternity care at a major tertiary hospital here in Brisbane she hasexperience supporting women through the pregnancy and breastfeeding journey, helping to navigate the multitude of changes happening within our bodies through this time.
Maddy is passionate about holistic, evidence based and client centred care, placing the clients’ goals and values at the centre of each consultation. Maddy feels it’s important to meet all clients where they’re at and provide practical solutions that empower women and families to be in control of their healthcare journey.
When she’s not at work you’ll find her spending quality time with her partner and family or enjoying a sunrise at the beach with a chai latte in hand.
